A visit to Edinburgh, affectionately known as Edinburg, is an experience that will stay with you long after you leave. Travelling to Edinburgh was a breeze thanks to the efficient Liner train, which whisked us away to our destination in style and comfort. We booked the first class tickets from London king cross street to Edinburg. It costs us around INR 36,243 for 5 first-class tickets. The ticket is inclusive of snacks and drinks. The journey itself, with its picturesque views, was a memorable part of our trip.
Our journey began with a delightful stay at the Novotel Edinburgh Centre, a modern hotel nestled at 80 Lauriston Place. The stay cost us around INR 36,000 for 2 rooms for a night. This comfortable abode offered us a cosy home during our adventure, with its strategic location and top-notch amenities. The highlight of our stay was The Tap - Music Lounge, a charming restaurant within the hotel. Here, we indulged in a variety of delicious dishes, from classic fish and chips to mouthwatering pizzas, all while enjoying the vibrant ambience and live music.
Our exploration of Edinburgh was a whirlwind of excitement, packed with visits to iconic landmarks and immersions in the city's rich culture. While a leisurely stay of 3 to 4 days is recommended to truly experience the city, we made the most of our time, visiting must-see attractions like the majestic Edinburgh Castle and the historic Royal Mile. Each corner of the city revealed a new story, and every landmark beckoned with intrigue, making our journey a truly unforgettable one.
